We celebrated Caden's 3rd Birthday last Saturday in our favorite style...sweet & simple. We celebrated by having a day filled with his favorite things. Pancakes for breakfast and an afternoon Lightning McQueen lunch with homemade macaroni and cheese and a racetrack cake for dessert. We played in the sandbox outside. To continue the party we played Caden's two favorite inside games. "Dia! Dia!", which involves running in circles yelling, you guessed it, "Dia! Dia!" and "Hop Potato" which involves jumping from one square on the living room rug to the next with your hands in your pockets yelling (his games always involve yelling) "HOP Potato!". I don't remember when he came up with these games, but we've played them many times. Caden's great at coming up with fun games for us to play and making sure we play them just right. We rounded out the day by playing cars and then some more cars. It was a great day for a great little boy. Happy Birthday Caden!

This kind of makes me tear up a little bit...how can our babies be 3 years old!? Caden is such a ball of energy and it's always so much fun to see him smile and excited about life! These pictures are priceless! Happy Birthday Caden!!
