Independence Day

Our good friends the Watsons came to visit us for a week. We had a lot of fun showing them some of our favorite spots in Maine. For the 4th we watched the parade downtown and then headed off to the coast to watch the fireworks in Bar Harbor.

It was a great day filled with many of my favorite things!

Returning to the first place I ever had lobster. Yum. Yum. Yum. You can watch the guys bring in the lobster traps right from the ocean before they cook them and bring them to your plate. Seriously delicious. Hailey was pretty interested in the strange thing I was eating.
