For our last day trip with my mom and Emily, we stopped by Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. The first one was built in 1826 for $4,000. It didn't last too long because they mixed salt water with the mortar. They then made a new one in 1835. 100,000 people visit the lighthouse every year. Luckily for us, we were the only ones there.
