Snow Day...every day

A beautiful site to wake up to-the view from our room when we woke up. Blue skies, sunshine and snow.
Snow is everywhere. It's been everywhere for weeks. I'm starting to like it when it snows because it {freshens} up the old snow with a fresh coat of white.
Our snowy driveway...now what you need to know is at 8 pm the night before this picture was taken-our good friend/pastor Mike showed up with his snow blower (thank you!!) and cleared a good 8-10 inches out of driveway. That's a whole lot of snow. Notice Xander's head above the fence which is at least 6 feet high. The boys love that we have "snow mountains" in our yard.
Xander helping me shovel the driveway....which usually involves him sliding down the snow mountain and adding snow to the driveway. I really don't mind though, he keeps me company and his good attitude about loving to shovel snow is {almost} contagious.

*We have a super sweet neighbor. He's probably 75 or 80 and he came out and helped me shovel the driveway. The last time is snowed a few inches he shoveled the whole thing before we ever even made it outside.* We're amazed by the kindness and hospitality of the people we have been meeting since moving here. It makes us want to be more aware of what we can do for others.*
